Memory Verse
For those who are according to the flesh, frame the mind on the things of the flesh. But the ones according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit (Romans 8:5).
The frame of mind shapes our perception of ourselves and the world around us. It establishes boundaries around our opinion of ourselves and the world, naturally constraining our thinking within that scope. When our mind is framed on fleshly things, we govern our lives according to the desires from the flesh. In contrast, when we set our minds on Spiritual things and align our self-perception to God’s opinion of us in Christ, we will walk according to the desires from the Spirit.
