Memory Verse
Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; just and having salvation. He is lowly and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. (Zechariah 9:9)
Israel was foretold how the Messiah would come. He would not come in the grandeur that the high priest and scribes had determined was necessary for a king, but as a humble, just man, ridding a colt of donkey. He came to do the desires will of God and bring salvation to Israel.
