Put on the whole armor of God towards your inherent ability to stand facing the methodologies of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
The armor of God is our heavy, defensive protection. Through it, we are inherently equipped to stand against Satan’s schemes. He employs such tactics as independence from God, doubt, bitterness, spiritual cowardice, pride, corrupt communication, gossip, disappointment, discouragement, deceit, an ungracious spirit, theft, spiritual laziness, and meddling in others’ affairs to subvert the grace believer.
Satan does not use the works of the flesh as a means of attack, for he neither controls the flesh nor cares for its desires. Therefore, when our minds are being overwhelmed by one of his methodologies, we are to put on this heavy armor, so that we are able to stand against them.
