Therefore, is someone cleans himself from these, he will be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and useful to the master, having been prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21).
Do we desire to do great things for God? Then let us cleanse ourselves from all unrighteousness in our lives. Abstain from fleshly desires that wage war against the soul. Set Christ apart as Lord, so that you are prepared to give a verbal defense for the hope that is in you. Apply the truth in order to have victory over your sin nature (Romans 6:4–13). Put on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of salvation, for your daily walk; and when Satan attacks, use the heavy armor of God to overcome him (1 Thessalonians 5:8; Ephesians 6:10–18). Acknowledge that you have been crucified to the world—use it, but do not abuse it (1 Corinthians 7:31; Galatians 6:14). Study diligently so that you may present yourself approved to God—a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Then you will be a vessel for honor, prepared for every good work.
