Spiritual means to pertain to or emanate the things of the Spirit. When a Christian is seeking out and fulfilling the desires for the Holy Spirit, he is in a Spiritual state. There is only one degree of Spirituality, although there are varying degrees of maturity. When a Christian is Spiritual, he is able to mature through the Holy Spirit comparing Spiritual concepts with Spiritual words, 1 Corinthians 2:13, and teaching him how to abide in Christ, 1 John 2:27. In this state of mind, the saints will be able to properly discern the things of God that relate to what He has prepared for those who love Him, 1 Corinthians 2:15. A person that is Spiritual is filled up where lacking by the Holy Spirit, Ephesian5:18, giving them the ability to manifest His fruit, Galatians 5:22-23.
