Activities of Angels
Angels appear to men in the form of men, as seen in Genesis 18:2.
They are used to give revelation. This occurs in visions, as recorded in Daniel 8:15-16, and in dreams, as seen in Genesis 31:11.
Angels bring messages from God, as demonstrated in Luke 1:11-13.
During the Earthly Ministry of Christ
Angels attended to the humanity of the Son, as described in Luke 22:43-44. They rolled back the stone from the grave, as recorded in Matthew 28:2, and announced the resurrection, as stated in Luke 24:1-7.
Presently
Angels tend to the heirs of salvation, as mentioned in Hebrews 1:14. They can be involved in the salvation of humans, as recorded in Acts 8:26-37 and Acts 10:3. Angels also terminate the life of unbelievers, as seen in Acts 12:23, and protect the saints, as shown in Acts 12:7 and Acts 27:23.
During the Tribulation Period
Angels will be allowed to harm unbelievers and the earth, as described in Revelation 7:1. They will gather and separate the righteous from the unrighteous, as stated in Matthew 13:39, and they will appear with Christ at His Second Coming, as recorded in 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7.
In the Millennial Kingdom
Angels will be posted around the gates of the heavenly Jerusalem, as mentioned in Revelation 21:12. They will gather the unrighteous from the kingdom, as stated in Matthew 13:41. Furthermore, they will be involved in transporting Jews and Gentiles to the heavenly Jerusalem, as recorded in Zechariah 8:20-23.
Fallen Angels
Humans will judge fallen angels, as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:3. Salvation is not offered to them, as stated in 2 Peter 2:4 and Hebrews 2:14-16. The holy angels will witness the torment of the fallen ones, as recorded in Revelation 14:10. Ultimately, they will be cast into the lake of fire with Satan, as foretold in Matthew 25:41 and Revelation 20:10.
The Residency of Angels
Angels reside in the second heaven, as indicated in Luke 2:15 and Ephesians 3:10. Some fallen angels are imprisoned, as described in 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6. Additionally, four fallen angels are bound upon the Euphrates River, as recorded in Revelation 9:14-15.
