Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:1–2 that we’re saved through the gospel—if we hold fast to it… unless we believed in vain.
Some parrot the gospel—they repeat the words but never actually believed.
That’s why discernment matters. Tares may look genuine, even rise to leadership, but they don’t bear the fruit of the Spirit.
